The Spotted-winged Fruit Bat (Balionycteris maculata) is the smallest fruit bat species in the world. It typically roosts in the crowns of tall palms and epiphytic vegetation, but has also been known to excavate roost cavities in termite nests. Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo).
