A female Malayan Tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni) traverses rainforest in a recovering wildlife corridor that spans between two large reserves in northern Peninsular Malaysia. This photo was captured during a long-term camera trapping project in association with the Tropical Rainforest Conservation & Research Centre, aiming to document wildlife in an actively planted forest restoration zone. Although adjacent to two extensive forest reserves, the Malayan Tigers in this area face threats from wildlife poachers and collisions with highway vehicles. Perak, Malaysia.
